Book Sorting

at Home

Volunteers are currently packing books for our Book Bag Project. This volunteer opportunity consists of taking  boxes of children's books to your home, putting two books in each of the large bags we will supply, labeling the bags, counting the bags in each box, and bringing them back to our office. 

Host a 

Book Drive

Our programs are supported by the generosity of the many individuals who donate books directly to us. Your organization or group can collect new and gently used children's books to donate. 

This is also a wonderful option for any celebration in lieu of gifts.

Read-aloud

on Video

Show children that reading is fun. Books Are Wings hosts a weekly read-aloud on Facebook. We are looking for community members, supporters, and partners that would be willing to read. All you need is a picture book you love, a phone, and excitement for reading to local youth!
