We invite you to support Books Are Wings in our 10th Annual Gift of Literacy Campaign. Children and families across Rhode Island need access to books, literacy activities and resources to improve literacy outcomes for the state's under-resourced communities.

According to the Rhode Island Kids Count Factbook, only 18% of third graders in our four urban centers are meeting expectations in reading.

We partner with teachers, schools and community centers to provide these literacy resources that can support reading skills. By supporting this campaign, you will make it possible for Books Are Wings to connect with readers and their families through our programs like Books All Year, Read to 100 and our newest offering, 20 Book Boost! which provides rapid, increased access to books.

This important campaign runs through December 31, 2023. The funds raised throughout the campaign support Books Are Wings' mission to put free books in the hands of children during the holiday season and all year long.
