Books To Love This Valentine’s Day

Books To Love this Valentine’s Day

Spread the love this February 14th with children’s Valentine’s Day books filled with stories of friendship, acts of kindness and tales of family.

Love From The Crayons by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers: The authors of the The Day The Crayons Quit are back with another story of the crayons in love.

Hugs and Kisses for the Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle: In this story of friendship and kindness, we learn that even the crankiest friend can be loved.

Love by Matt de la Peña: This book is available in both Spanish and English, and uses beautiful illustrations and poetic text to help the children understand the complex emotions that make up love.

Worm Loves Worm by J. J. Austrian: This book is a celebration of love and equality, in all’ forms.

This Is Not a Valentine by Carter Higgins: A valentine doesn’t have to pink or covered hearts to be meaningful. This sweet pictures book explores how love can look different for everyone.

Love Is by Diane Adams: This sweet story follows a little girl as she cares for a baby duck over the course of a year. It’s also a story about letting the things we love go.
