SCHEDULE A BOOK PARTY

As a solution to literacy issues, research studies encourage parents, teachers and communities to continue to find ways to promote excitement about reading and motivate children to read more.

Our FREE book parties are designed to not only provide children with FREE books but enhance their literacy skills. We read stories, discuss literature, help children spell their names and give them FREE books to help nurture their skills at home.

What we offer:
1. A table at an upcoming event with FREE books and literature on families and literacy
2. Host a “book party” which includes storytelling and FREE books
3. Host a “book party” which includes storytelling, a literacy activity, refreshments, face painting and FREE books.

The above options depend on space and scheduling. Please contact Jocelynn White, Program Director for more information.
