Suzanne D. Oppenheimer received her Ph.D.
in Biology from Brown University and taught at Wheaton College
in Norton, Massachusetts. She has volunteered for the Rhode
Island Natural History Survey, the Rumford Women’s Club
and served on the board of directors and as president of the
parent-teacher organization at The Gordon School in East Providence.
A passionate reader, Suzanne also enjoys knitting, bicycling
and gardening.
